Inspirations workshop

From the summer project it was clear there was as development element in my work instead of quick drawings, you could see a theme was occurring a lot in the work to which gave the group an insight of how and where this ‘idea’ was going, as I introduced myself I said wallpaper design/ interiors. So the theme or idea was heading into wallpaper and some being interior designs. The group seemed to agree that the theme and ideas were very well thought out and strong pieces with good use of different media being involved, to which I do agree I did try to use different types of media to reflect textures.

From the pictures shown to which the group had seen they agreed that print was the best specialism for me as my work is very print like. But it was hard to tell as yet of which way of print was I wanting to go of digital or screen - I do enjoy both but I feel at the moment in could go both ways of combining the two but who knows. For the improvement I would say to not get so fixated on one area as mentioned it was a theme or concept happening. I should have allowed myself more time to look into my other images I collocated and try to work with them instead of focusing on a potential outcome.  So for that reason I need to improve on for allowing to work with more and experiment.

For further artist inspiration I would have liked to hear some suggestions but none were given.
For the overall concept the group could see a colour scheme which they liked of the use of blues involved but then orange would join in and give it more life to which they had no problem with. I feel they did see potentially good ideas running through as I did basically dedicate a sketch book to running an idea through.
